Tyler Merrilat joined the Vikings in summer of 2020 as the Assistant Athletics Director for Academic Services. Merrilat comes to Cleveland following a two-year stient spent at Central Michigan, most recently serving as Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Services. Merrilat worked with the football and softball programs at CMU. Merillat held academic advising positions at Weber State and Florida State. He started as an academic graduate assistant at Oklanoma. Merrilat earned his education degree at Bowling Green State University in 2014.
