NCAA Bylaw 10.01.1 - Honesty and Sportsmanship.
 Individuals employed by (or associated with) a member institution to administer, conduct or coach intercollegiate athletics and all participating student-athletes shall act with honesty and sportsmanship at all times so that intercollegiate athletics as a whole, their institutions and they, as individuals, shall represent the honor and dignity of fair play and the generally recognized high standards associated with wholesome competitive sports.

Playing/Practice Seasons - Hours Limitations

Time Management and What a Student-Athlete Should Expect:

Bylaw 17.1.7.1 Daily & Weekly Hour Limitations - Playing Season: A student-athlete's participation in countable athletically related activities shall be limited to a maximum of four (4) hours per day and 20 hours per week of countable athletically related activities.

Bylaw 17.1.7.2 Weekly Hour Limitations - Outside the Playing Season (a) Sports Other than Football. Outside of the playing season, a student-athlete's participation in such activities per Bylaw 17.02.1 shall be limited to a maximum of eight (8) hours per week with not more than two (2) hours per week spent on skill-related workouts.
