A native Clevelander, Andy McCartney is a graduate of Mayfield High School (1988). He attended the US Naval Academy, graduating with a B.S. in physics in 1992. Andy continued his studies at Tufts University where he earned an M.S. in electrical engineering (Electro-Optics Specialty) in 1994.
Andy was a US Navy Surface Nuclear Power Officer from 1994-98 with the USS Hue City (CG 66) & USS Enterprise (CVN 65)
The President/Owner of Bowden Manufacturing, Andy has been with the company since 1998.

Andy has served on the Boards of Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland & Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland.
He currently serves as Committee Chairman of the Ronald McDonald House Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
Andy and his wife Amy have three daughters, Emily, Carrie and Abby. He enjoys racquet sports, basketball and golf
