Rick Farone, Managing Partner of Guardian Technologies, LLC, is responsible for the execution of strategic planning, profit and loss management and analysis, market research, channel management, product innovation and development, product management; brand positioning, sales and customer relationship management, cost control/reduction and demand planning.
Guardian Technologies, LLC is a consumer products company he founded in 2005. Located in Euclid, OH, Guardians brands include Germ Guardian and Pure guardian and they offer a full line of residential Air Purifiers and Humidifiers.
Rick Started his career as an intern at Royal Appliance/Dirt Devil. He worked at Royal for 18 years and held many positions before becoming the EVP of Sales and Marketing. During his time, the company grew for $17M to $400M is sales before being sold in 2003.
Rick has obtained numerous patents that have driven significant product sales and growth, as well as licensing arrangements and revenues. He has a proven track record of identifying new opportunities and delivering successful growth results in a variety of complex environments.
He is a E&Y entrepreneur of the year winner and sits on numerous boards. Is a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area and attended Cleveland State University on a baseball scholarship. He is a 1987 graduate with a Business Administration degree in Marketing.
He enjoys golfing and fishing in his spare time.
