Three Named to Horizon League Fall Academic All-League Teams

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State had three student-athletes named to the Horizon League Fall Academic All-League teams that were announced on Thursday afternoon.

Senior Frederike Dubeau was named to the women's soccer team, while senior Admir Suljevic was honored on the men's team. Junior Maggie Hannon was voted to the volleyball team.

Dubeau concluded her career with a selection to the All-Horizon League first team after leading the CSU defense to a program-low 22 goals and five shutouts, the second most in a season in school history. A member of the 2010 Horizon League All-Newcomer team, Dubeau scored two goals this season.

She carries a 3.8 grade point average as an Operations and Supply Chain Management major.

Suljevic put together a dynamic offensive season, despite missing nine games with an injury. He led the team with six goals and 15 points, finishing second on the team with three assists. A three-time all-league honoree, he notched a hat trick in an October win over Detroit, tallying three goals in the first half.

A liberal studies major, he sports a 3.44 GPA.

Hannon helped lead the volleyball team to the Horizon League semifinals for the 10th straight season, averaging 3.00 kills and 1.01 blocks per set. She ranked second in the league with a .330 hitting percentage, en route to first team All-Horizon League accolades.
