Cleveland State Athletics Honors Over 80 Spring & Summer Graduates

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Eighty-three Cleveland State student-athletes participated in last weekend's Cleveland State University Commencement ceremonies, highlighted by two Valedictorians in Kierstin Clark and Jenna Deang

Clark, a member of the women's soccer team, earned a degree in chemical engineering and was the 2024 Washkewicz College of Engineering Valedictorian. 

Deang, a member of the softball team, was the 2024 Monte Ahuja College of Business Valedictorian after earning a degree in Business Administration Marketing.

In addition to the two Valedictorians, 60 Vikings graduated with honors, as 22 earned Cum Laude, 21 earned Magna Cum Laude and 17 earned Summa Cum Laude honors. 

Also included in the spring and summer graduates were five members of Cleveland State's Jack, Joseph & Morton Mandel Honors College; Clark, Travis Kroggel (men's fencing), Adeline Mantoan (women's fencing), Valentina Rengifo (women's swim & dive), and Jenna Watts (softball).
