CLEVELAND – The Cleveland State department of athletics has announced the Viking Fan Frenzy, a new men's basketball ticket promotion available beginning on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Fans can purchase a lower level seat to any upcoming CSU men's basketball home game for $10. If the Vikings do not win the contest, as long as the fan has scanned their ticket and attended the Wolstein Center, the ticket will roll over to also be available for the Viking's next home game. When the team secures a victory, fans will be given a chance to buy back in to the promotion with another $10 purchase.
"As we look to continue building upon our fan experience efforts as Cleveland's only Division I team, it is important to create new and compelling ticket offerings aimed at filling the Wolstein Center stands." explained Scott Garrett, CSU Director of Athletics. "We are excited for Coach Gates and the team after their impressive consecutive wins last weekend, and want to continue building on the momentum of some terrific early season home crowds."
Cleveland State won back-to-back games over the weekend at the Battle for the Capital in Washington, D.C. The Vikings defeated UNC Wilmington 47-46 and then defeated Eastern Kentucky 65-51.
Viking Fan Frenzy tickets must be purchased in advance and are available exclusively online at csuvikings.com using the promo code FRENZY. Tickets will be delivered electronically. Fans can buy back into the promotion at any time following a home win throughout the 2019-20 season.

Scenario A: Vikings win. Congratulations, you saw a great game. You can purchase a ticket for another game at $10, or through the variety of other promotional offerings available.
Scenario B: Vikings lose. You will be sent an equivalent number of tickets via email to return to the next home game as our guest. You will continue to have tickets sent to you until one of two things happen:
- The Vikings win
- You fail to attend a game
