CLEVELAND -- Members of the Cleveland State athletic department, including new men's basketball head coach Dennis Gates, will participate in this week's Walnut Wednesday in downtown Cleveland.
Walnut Wednesday, downtown Cleveland's biggest food truck event, takes place alongside Perk Plaza at Chester Commons. Downtown workers and residents are invited to unwind with friends and co-workers while enjoying delicious food from food trucks and live entertainment. The event will be held from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Those in attendance are invited to visit the Viking athletic tent on-site to get all the latest information on the Vikings' fall home schedules including volleyball matches in Woodling Gym and men's and women's soccer matches at Krenzler Field. Look for the Vikings in green as you make your way around the different food trucks.
Additionally, fans will be able to purchase lower-level men's basketball season tickets starting at just $75. For purchasing season tickets at Walnut Wednesday, fans will have their processing fee waived in addition to receiving a Viking scarf.
