For the fourth time over the last six years the Cleveland State women's tennis team claimed a share of the Regular Season Horizon League title, as the Vikings finished the year with an 8-1 record in #HLWTEN play.
The Vikings, who were under the direction of first year head coach Frank Polito, tied the program record for most league wins in a single-season while also posting the highest overall win total (16) since the 2011-12 campaign.
Cleveland State posted an impressive 9-1 record at home during the 2019 spring season, improving to 32-9 all-time at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
After clinching a share of the regular season #HLWTEN title, the Vikings earned the No. 2 seed in the 2019 Horizon League Tournament, and earned a spot in the championship match for the fourth time in program history.
