A look at what's happening in Cleveland State Athletics...

Volleyball
- Cleveland State (17-12) finished the 2018 season last weekend, falling in the semifinals of the #HLVB Tournament.
- Sophomore Hannah Greene was named to the All-Tournament Team, after posting seven kills on a .429 hitting percentage along with two blocks against Northern Kentucky.
- Last Saturday's match marked the 14th time that the Vikings have appeared in the semifinals of the Horizon League tournament over the last 19 years.

Men's Basketball
- Cleveland State (2-3) heads to Ohio State this Friday, November 23, before returning home to host Purdue Fort Wayne Sunday, November 25.
- The Vikings picked up two wins this past week--94-65 over Urbana and 84-69 over South Carolina State--before dropping a 73-60 contest to undefeated Samford.
- Sophomore Stefan Kenic led the team by averaging 15.3 points while Tyree Appleby averaged 12.3 points and 5.0 assists.

Women's Basketball
- The Vikings (2-2) will have another busy week ahead, as they host Illinois State at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, before heading West for the San Diego Thanksgiving Tournament to face San Diego (Friday, November 23) and Tulane (Saturday, November 24) this weekend.
- After picking up a 79-49 victory over Lake Erie last time out, the Vikings own a perfect 2-0 record at the Wolstein Center this season.
- Entering the week, freshman Savanna Crockett is averaging a double-double on the year with 10.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game - the only Horizon League player to be averaging a double-double so far this season.

Fencing
- Cleveland State will take time off from competition and resume action after the semester break.
- The Viking men went 0-2 and the women went 0-4 at Ohio State's Elite Invitational Duals this past weekend.
- CSU did net some impressive results though as the men's foil team took down North Carolina and the women's epee squad upset Cornell.

Men's Swimming & Diving
- After a busy weekend, Cleveland State will take time off from competition and resume action on the second weekend of December.
- The Vikings won their fifth consecutive Magnus Cup title with a CSU meet record 1,871.5 points.
- Junior Dominic Poletta and sophomore Dominik Niedzialek each won two individual swimming events while Matt Akers swept the diving competition.

Women's Swimming & Diving
- After a busy weekend, Cleveland State will take time off from competition and resume action on the second weekend of December.
- Hosting the Magnus Cup, the Vikings finished fifth in a strong 16-team field with 649.5 points.
- Sophomore Lexie Kostelnik broke the school record in the 1650 freestyle while senior Molly McNamara won the 200 butterfly.

Wrestling
- Cleveland State will take this week off from competition before resuming action on the first weekend of December.
- The Vikings tied for 14th place at the Navy Classic with 28.5 points this past weekend.
- Senior John Vaughn placed sixth at 165 pounds, netting a win by fall and a major decision.

Viking of the Week
Dominic Poletta, Men's Swim & Dive
The junior won two individual events and was part of two winning relays at the seventh annual Magnus Cup, helping the Vikings capture the 2018 title with 1871.5 total points. Poletta won the 50 Freestyle and 50 Butterfly individual events, while he was the lead leg on the winning 200 Freestyle Relay and the anchor leg on the first-place 200 Medley Relay.
