Eight CSU Teams Post Perfect Graduation Success Rate Scores

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The NCAA released the latest Division I graduation rate data Wednesday afternoon, with Cleveland State posting a multi-year graduation success rate (GSR) of 94-percent. Along with the multi-year GSR, the NCAA also announced individual sport GSR reports, with eight Viking teams earning perfect 100-percent marks.

The eight Cleveland State teams that posted perfect GSR rates were; men's basketball, men's tennis, cross country/track & field, women's golf, softball, women's swimming & diving, women's tennis, and volleyball.

The current GSR figures measure the graduation rates of NCAA Division I student-athletes who entered college in the 2011-12 academic year.

Cleveland State's multi-year graduation success rate of 94-percent leads all Horizon League teams, while the eight teams with perfect GSR reports ranks second among league opponents.

Cleveland State also posted a single-year GSR score of 97.8, which is almost 10 points higher than the NCAA average of 88.
