CLEVELAND, Ohio - The 41st Annual Cleveland State Athletics Hall of Fame Luncheon and Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb. 3, beginning at 11:30 am on the fourth floor of the Wolstein Center.
Women's tennis standout Sarah Galon, former women's cross country and track athlete Christine Myeroff (Kohler), women's golfer Kristen Obush and former men's golf standout Jake Scott comprise the class.
The afternoon begins with a reception at 11:30 am followed by a luncheon at 12:00 pm. The induction ceremony starts at 1:00 pm.
The CSU men's basketball team will play Northern Kentucky at 3:00 pm and the 41st class will be recognized at halftime of the game.

ABOUT THE INDUCTION CLASS
Galon (2003-07) was one of the top women's tennis players to come through the program, earning First Team All-Horizon League honors all four years. The Horizon League Player of the Year as a sophomore, she also earned the Herb Foster Sportsmanship Award from the League in 2006 and 2007 and was the Horizon League Newcomer of the Year in 2004. Galon, who was the first Viking tennis player to earn first team all-league honors four times, ranks first in program history with 79 career singles wins and second with 75 career doubles victories. Galon spent the majority of her four years at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions and was the first player in school history to advance to the singles main draw of the ITA Regionals in 2006. Off the court, Galon served as the SAAC President as a senior and earned the 2007 NCAA National Sportsmanship Award.
Myeroff (Kohler) (1983-86) was a highly-accomplished cross country and track athlete during her career. A four-time letterwinner in track and three-time letterwinner in cross country, she received CSU's Most Outstanding Cross Country Athlete three times (1983, 1984, 1985) and was the team's Most Outstanding Track Athlete in 1983. Myeroff was a three-time qualifier for the NCAA District IV Cross Country Championships (1983, 1984, 1985) and was CSU's top finisher in six of seven cross country races in 1983. She was also the team's top finisher in all 10 races in 1985, including individual titles at the Siena Heights and Findlay Invitationals. In addition, she was part of the 4x400 meter relay team that set a school record with a time of 4:09 in 1986 and also set then CSU school records in the 1,500-meters (4:36.80) and the long jump (15'6'').
Obush (2002-06) was one of the most dominant golfers in the Horizon League during her time at CSU, earning first team all-league honors all four years and being named Horizon League Co-Player of the Year in 2004. She fired a then school record round of 74 her senior year, which now ranks sixth best in school history. Obush won a pair of tournaments in 2003 and two more in 2005 with her four individual tournament wins a school record. CSU's top finisher in 35 of 44 tournaments, Obush had 12 top-10 finishes for her career, including a runner-up showing at the 2004 Horizon League Championship. She also tied for fifth at the 2005 League Championship and tied for sixth at the 2006 League tournament.
Scott (2006-09) was a key component of helping build the current dynasty of the men's golf program. A three-time First Team All-Horizon League selection (2007, 2008, 2009), Scott became the first player in program history to earn League Player of the Year honors when he won the award in 2009. He helped the team to three Horizon League titles (2006, 2008, 2009) and earned a spot on the 2008 and 2009 all-tournament teams after claiming medalist honors at both tournaments. Scott ranks second in program history in career scoring average (74.1) and round of par or better (45) and holds the school record with 140 career rounds played. He won four events during his career, ranking second in program history, while his career-low round of 65 is tied for the second lowest in program history. Scott holds two of the top-six single season scoring records, posting a 72.7 average as a junior which ranks second and a 73.2 average as a senior which ranks sixth.
