A LOOK AT WHAT'S HAPPENING

Men's Golf
• CSU continues play at the Horizon League Championship with the second and third rounds on Monday and Tuesday (April 24-25) in Florida.
• The Vikings - who have won three straight League titles - shot a first round 294 to take the early lead.
• Anton Krecic opened with a 71 and is tied for second place, while Patrick Luth shot 73 and is tied for sixth.
• Luth was named to the All-Horizon League first team, while Krecic was voted to the second team and head coach Steve Weir garned Coach of the Year honors for the fifth time in his career.

Women's Golf
• The Vikings play the second and third rounds at the Horizon League Championship on Monday and Tuesday (April 24-25) in Florida.
• CSU shot a first round 319 and was in fourth place after Sunday's first round. Rayna Oosterhuis is in third place after a career-low 74, while Kaylee Neumeister shot 75 and is tied for fifth.
• Neumeister was named to the All-Horizon League first team, while Sophie Kelner garnered a spot on the all-league second team.

Men's Lacrosse
• CSU (4-9) concludes its inaugural season on Saturday, April 29, when it hosts Detroit Mercy at 7:00 pm.
• The Vikings played their final road game of the campaign this past weekend and fell at Sacred Heart, 18-9.
• Caleb Espinoza posted a game-high 18 saves, the third time in the past four games he surpassed 15 stops.
• Stephen Masi contributed a season-best four goals to net his first collegiate hat trick.

Softball
• The Vikings play six games this week, hosting Detroit Mercy for a three-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 25-26) and playing at Youngstown State on Friday and Saturday (April 28-29).
• CSU won two of three games at Northern Kentucky over the weekend, sweeping a doubleheader on Friday before losing the series finale on Saturday.
• Riley Ries hit 556 (5-9) with two runs, a double and four RBI in the three games, while Macy Kaisk pitched a complete game in game two, leading CSU to a 4-1 win.

Men's Tennis
• CSU has earned a spot in the Horizon League Tournament for the 15th straight season, clinching the No. 6 seed in the upcoming three-day tournament (Friday, April 28 - Sunday, April 30) in Ann Arbor, Mich.
• During the regular season, freshman Nico Mostardi led the Vikings with 10 wins at No. 1 singles, while Benjamin Slade posted a team-best 4-3 mark in League matches.
• Mostardi has also been part of Cleveland State's top doubles team, teaming up with Andre Mick to post a team-best 10-7 record this spring, including a perfect 4-0 mark against league opponents.

Women's Tennis
• For the third time in the last four years, the Vikings clinched a share of the Horizon League regular season title, finishing with an 8-1 mark in Horizon League play.
• Cleveland State picked up back-to-back wins at Milwaukee (4-3) and Green Bay (7-0) last weekend to secure its second straight regular season crown.
• The Vikings will enter the Horizon League Tournament (Friday, April 28 - Sunday, April 30) as the No. 2 seed based on tiebreakers, and will begin play with a semifinal contest on Saturday, April 29. in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Women's Track & Field
• CSU continues its outdoor season on Friday and Saturday (April 29-30) at the Ashland Alumni Invitational.
• This will mark the Vikings' third meet of the outdoor season, and the last tune-up before the Horizon League Championship (Friday, May 5 - Sunday, May 7).

VIKINGS OF THE WEEK

Cleveland State Women's Tennis Team

The Vikings earned victories at Milwaukee and Green Bay over the weekend to finish the League slate with an 8-1 mark to clinch a share of the Horizon League regular season title. It is the second straigh season and third time in the last four years that the Vikings have won at least a share of the regular season crown.

Shot an opening round 71 at the League Championship and is tied for second place.

Opened the Horizon League Championship with a career-low round of 74 on Sunday.

Hit .556 (5-9) with two runs, a double and four RBI as CSU took two of three at NKU.
